President John Dramani Mahama has commended the outgoing Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, for his unwavering dedication to national security. Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed IGP, COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Mahama emphasized that Dr. Dampare’s contributions to law enforcement and public safety would be remembered for years to come. He acknowledged the pivotal role Dampare played in strengthening Ghana’s security framework and wished him well in his future endeavors.
