This marks a second consecutive year of dominance in the rankings, underlining UG’s consistency in academic excellence, impactful research, and global engagement.

The QS results, recognized globally as a benchmark of institutional quality, credited UG with a remarkable score of 96.8 in Employment Outcomes, highlighting the impressive employability and competitiveness of its graduates. Additionally, UG scored 80.8 in the International Research Network, reflecting its growing international partnerships and robust research presence across borders.

This outstanding performance aligns with the University’s ongoing implementation of its 2024–2029 Strategic Plan, which emphasizes transformative student experiences, impactful research, and sustainable development. UG’s commendable sustainability ranking further signals its dedication to environmental and ethical responsibility.

The university also recently made headlines in the Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025, where it ranked first in Ghana and second in West Africa.
