Sam George stands firm, declines to apologize to former President Akuffo-Addo.

Sam George, the Minister-Designate for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, adamantly refused to take back his earlier claims that the administration of former President Akufo-Addo had embezzled public funds during a recent ministerial vetting session. He made it clear that his comments were appropriate and stated that he would not apologize. George claimed to have proof of more than 700 incidents that link the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration to resource misappropriation.

George asked to be given the chance to provide comprehensive proof to back up his assertions when the vetting committee pressed him to do so. Richard Ahiafor, the chairman of the committee, decided that such evidence should be presented in writing instead of orally. The chairman's decision stood in spite of the minority members' protests, who favored an oral presentation.

George's unwavering position demonstrates his determination to hold the former government responsible. He claims that he will never apologize and that his remarks were justified. The continuous tensions and scrutiny surrounding the activities of the government of former President Akufo-Addo are highlighted by this occurrence.
