The High Court in Accra has directed prison authorities to present Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, in court as she and three others prepare to open their defence in a new criminal case. This directive follows the dismissal of a "submission of no case" filed by Agradaa’s legal team, with the court ruling that the accused have a case to answer. Nana Agradaa, currently serving a 15-year sentence for charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence, was absent during the hearing on July 7, 2025. The prosecution clarified that she is being held at Nsawam Prison, prompting the judge to issue a production order for her next court appearance.

Nana Agradaa and her co-accused — Enock Owusu Kissi, Charles Omane (a.k.a. One Gig), and Emmanuel Kofi Gyasi — face charges related to the unlawful sharing of nude images of Prophet Emmanuel Appiah Fomum. The charges stem from a July 2024 broadcast of Agradaa’s show Yi Wasum on her former station, Thunder TV, now Today’s TV. Prosecutors allege that Agradaa showed intimate images of the prophet on air and later shared them via WhatsApp, while her co-hosts made disparaging remarks. Initially dismissed by a Circuit Court, the case was refiled at the High Court and will resume on July 30, 2025, for a Case Management Conference.
