A 38-year-old man named Victor Antwi has been accused of starting a devastating fire that rendered several people homeless in the Ahodwo High Tension area of Kumasi.

The incident occurred on the evening of a major football match between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, and was reportedly sparked by a relationship dispute.

Sources indicate that Antwi became furious after his 25-year-old girlfriend, Madam Gladys Sarfowaah, ended their relationship. In a fit of anger, he allegedly went to her home and set it on fire. The blaze quickly spread, destroying nearby buildings and leaving many residents displaced.
