Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana is set to join Serie A side Atalanta from Southampton in a deal worth €17.5 million paid in installments, with an additional €4 million in potential add-ons and team performance bonuses.

As part of the agreement, Southampton will retain a 15% sell-on clause for any future transfer of the player.

Sulemana is expected to sign a long-term contract until June 2029, with an option for an extra year.

The transfer marks a return to top-tier European football for the 22-year-old after Southampton’s relegation.
