The Communications Office of the Presidency has unveiled a new initiative known as the Government Accountability Series, designed to enhance transparency and promote accountability in governance.

Set to commence on Monday, July 14, 2025, the series will offer a platform for key ministers to deliver mid-year updates on their respective sectors and provide the public with a preliminary evaluation of government performance over the past half-year.

Felix Kwakye-Ofosu, the Presidency Spokesperson and Minister of State for Government Communications, announced that the series will take place three times a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays — at 11 a.m.

The first session will feature the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, who is expected to shed light on developments and initiatives in the country’s interior and security sectors.

The Government Accountability Series is intended to be a consistent channel for engagement between the government and citizens, underscoring the administration’s dedication to transparency and responsive governance.
