Don't cancel Betting Tax, invest funds into sports development - Dan Kwaku Yeboah

Dan Kwaku Yeboah, a sports journalist, has cautioned against abolishing Ghana's betting tax and instead suggested that the money raised go toward sports development projects. He thinks that putting these monies into sports can improve the infrastructure and output of the industry.

Yeboah contends that instead of eliminating the tax, the government ought to use the money raised to fund sports initiatives, as this might result in the creation of jobs and better chances for young people.

This strategy tackles issues of Ghanaian sports' inadequate funding.
