Sammi Awuku, Member of Parliament for Akuapim North, has voiced firm support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s leadership, expressing confidence in his ability to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to victory in the 2028 general elections. Speaking on Citi FM's Eyewitness News on June 19, Awuku emphasized Bawumia's effective leadership through difficult national and global periods, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic and during global economic instability.
